While words are the most widespread volume units for accounting estimates and translation jobs among freelance translators, translators and translation agencies in many countries use lines, pages (with various number of characters with spaces or without spaces) or other custom volume units.

With Translation Office 3000 you can use both words and ANY other text volume units (e.g. page of 1800 characters with spaces, page of 1500 characters without spaces, line of 50, 55 or 60, or 62 characters).
