Wordcounts for Translation Jobs

Built-in Translation Office 3000 AnyCount Engine produces automatic word counts, character counts, line counts and page counts for translation quotes and translation jobs, which you would like to account in Translation Office 3000.

Counting and accounting translations of .DOC files

Word count and character counts of Translation Office 3000 AnyCount Engine exactly coincide with word counts and character counts in .DOC files produced by Microsoft Word with important additional options:

• word count and character count in Running Headers contents;

• word count and character count in Running Footers contents;

• word count and character count in End Notes;

• word count and character count in Text Boxes.

AnyCount Engine is able to optionally ignore texts in identical headers/footers. Results of counting .DOC files can be exported in .CSV or .TXT format.

• virus-safe (unlike .DOC files, which can contain Macro viruses);

• in many instances smaller than .DOC files;

• reduce the number of unnecessary information (like model of printer you use), which MS-Word always saves  in the .DOC files.

.XLS (Microsoft Excel file format)

Built-in Translation Office 3000 AnyCount Engine automatically produces correct word counts (and counts in characters with spaces, characters without spaces, lines, pages, or custom units) for single or multiple files with translation jobs in .XLS format.

AnyCount Engine is able to optionally include separate wordcount for cell comments.

Results of counting .XLS files can be exported in .CSV or .TXT format.

.CSV (Comma-Separated Values file format)

Built-in Translation Office 3000 AnyCount Engine automatically produces correct word counts (and counts in characters with spaces, characters without spaces, lines, pages, or custom units) for single or multiple files with translation jobs in .CSV format.

You can set custom delimiters:

,—comma, ;—semicolon

and text qualifiers:

’—apostrophe, "—quotation marks

or use automatic detection option.

Results of counting .CSV files can be exported in .CSV or .TXT format.

PDF — Portable Document Format

Built-in Translation Office 3000 AnyCount Engine produces correct word counts and counts in other volume units (characters with spaces, characters without spaces, lines, pages, custom units) for single or multiple files with translation jobs in .PDF format.

You do not need to buy Adobe Acrobat to produce automatic word counts in .PDF documents. AnyCount Engine works well with FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader, v.5.1.

Results of counting .PDF files can be exported in .CSV or .TXT format.

.TXT (plain-text format)
