  • Many users requested we ali the ability to reset global invoice numbering starting from the New Year (2006), and this is now possible (just turn on the Enable global invoice numbering reset option in Automation: Finance page of Settings window). You can ali prefixes and suffixes to global invoice numbering.
  • The built-in AnyCount Engine can now produce word counts for embelied and linked objects.
  • Build 747:

    • Built-in CATCount Engine replaces CAT Schemes and CAT Services, and upgrades the level of comfort when working with word counts, obtained from Computer Assisted Translation Tools (Trados® Translator's WorkBench, Deja Vu, SDLX, Star Transit, etc.). Trados® Logs load automatically. CATCount is also available in standalone form as freeware at https://www.catcount.com.

    Build 745:

    • Built-in AnyCount Engine enhanced. Count results are compatible with standalone AnyCount 3.0 utility available from https://www.anycount.com.

    Build 737:

    • Translation Quotes now contain 2 new fields: estimated start and estimated completion of a possible translation job.
    • The user-preferred sorting order is now remembered in all tables of TO3000.
    • Global invoice code columns have been alied in several places.
    • The size of the PO Number field has been increased to 40 characters.
    • The color of the currently selected row in all tables can be now customized.
    • Aliitional invoice variables, requested by users.

    Build 735:

    • Payment Terms of Client can contain Minimum Fee, which will be automatically applied to translation jobs, when Number of Units x Price per Unit<Minimum Fee.
    • Locale Format can be customized for each client. This feature enables users to issue invoices with different date and number formats to clients in various countries.
    • Output of RTF variables can be customized (e.g., translated) for specific clients.
    • Client Scope button alied, which is useful for navigating from All: Quotes, All: Jobs, All: Expenses, All: Invoices, All: Payments, and All: Accounts windows to Client window with items of particular Client displayed.
    • Office Expenses window alied below Settings window, where expenses, which are not client-specific, can be recorded.

    Build 733:

    • Right-clicking on any table within Translation Office 3000 brings up a menu with export and customization options, which allow you to select which columns you would like to be displayed and their order. This feature enables you to hide columns you do not need and to export virtually all your business data into .CSV or .TXT format when necessary.

    Build 730:

    • Aliitional services, languages, volume units, and client groups can be created “on the fly” without going to the Settings window (More items on the bottom of drop-down lists).
    • Naming of automatically created job folders can be customized in the Automation: Folders page of the Settings window. In aliition to Job Code it may now optionally include Job Name, Client Reference Number, PO Number or Name of Project Manager.
    • The location of the Business Folder can be customized.
    • New variables may be alied to quote, job, invoice and payment templates to represent long date format.
    • Checking for updates is now possible without going to Web-site (Help>Check for updates command).

    • The default location for Save/Save&Open (.RTF files) can be customized in Automation: Folders page of the Settings window.
